We created a self portrait using personal data and talked about how self portraits can mean more than just an image of ones face. We also discussed how we can use this data to learn about others and tailor the prompts to different environments (classrooms and age ranges). We also talked about different ways to set ourself up for success when creating lesson plans like this when trying to work with younger age ranges and how the instruction you give might differ. It was interesting to see how we were all given the same instruction yet each portrait was unique and we interpreted the instructions differently, this gave me insight on how differently people might think and follow instruction in a class setting.
